Material Analysis
Material physicochemical analysis involves a variety of analytical tools, each suited to different aspects, including chemical structure, microscopic physical structure, macroscopic physical properties, and electrical properties.

– For chemical structure, chemical bonding, and identification of unknown substances, suitable techniques include FTIR, Raman, GCMS, LC-TOF, GC-TOF, Sector, and NMR.
– For the chemical structure of microscopic particles and thin films, suitable techniques include FTIR-Microscopy, Raman-Microscopy, and PY-GCMS.
– For thermal properties of materials, DSC is suitable for analyzing temperature ranges; STA or TGA for weight changes and composition ratios; TMA for dimensional changes; and DMA for microscopic physical properties.
– For transmittance, color, and reflectance measurements, UV-VIS is used.
– For electrical properties and dielectric constants of materials, a dielectric analyzer DEA is used.
– For analyzing the high-temperature flow behavior of materials, a melt flow indexer MI or rheometer Rheometer is used.
